BIOGRAPHY
LANSANA DOLLEY
Lansana Dolley grew up in Danane (Côte d’Ivoire, West Africa, Africa). When the civil war in Côte d’Ivoire erupted in 2010, Lansana fled to Australia as a refugee and settled in Adelaide, South Australia. This is where he regularly attended National Soccer League games, played football and amateur football, and eventually became a junior coach.
After completing an Honours Degree at the University of South Australia, Lansana joined the organising committee of local sporting organisations.
He was an academic student representative and president of the South Australia Benkoma Association from 2015 to 2018. He is a Football Federation Australia-registered football intermediary and player agent. Lansana is also an Australian Government Services Australia customer compliance officer, a former Northern Wolves Soccer Club junior coordinator, and a Professional Football Scouts Association (PFSA) member.
He became interested in the sports business after attending a sporting conference in Adelaide. Lansana founded Bassano Football Agency, a football management agency and consultancy based in Australia. Lansana advises players and educates them on career development at BFA.
Lansana’s passion lies in improving the Australian football regulatory environment. He contributed toward football development in Australia.
Lansana also has a Bachelor of International Relations, Bachelor of Arts (Honour), PFSA Level 2 in Opposition Analysis, PFSA Level 2 in Talent Identification, PFSA Level 3 in Advance Reporting in Football, Football Intermediary Certificate, FA/AFC C License (Youth) and Professional Certificate of Sport Business Management at Alaska University.
He combines these roles with his position as a Customer Compliance Officer with the Australian Government Services Australia.
